I believe that affordability, the cost of living and inflation are hurting the people of Western Michigan. Some heads of households are working two jobs and still barely earning enough to get by. I support equal opportunities for everyone, along with voting rights, fair livable wages, unions, LGBTQIA+ fairness and equality, education for all including college debt forgiveness, a woman’s right to choose, and combating climate change.

Fighting for common-sense gun laws, higher wages, and investing in renewable energy that every homeowner will be able to afford are also primary goals of mine. Framers are heroes, they have been unsung and taken for granted. We need to support our farmers with fair trade initiatives by developing strategies to strengthen the resilience, profitability and sustainability of framers in the region.

Healthcare is one of the top concerns of West Michiganders because of cost. Nations like Israel have free university education as well as free healthcare. We can make it happen here too. It just takes will.
